BENNETT R.
SAVITZ, ESQUIRE
Bennett Savitz
has practiced exclusively in the area of immigration law since 1994.
Prior to forming Savitz Law Offices, P.C., he was with the firms Mintz,
Levin, Cohn, Ferris Glovsky & Popeo, P.C. in Boston; Goldman
Savitz, P.C. in Boston; and Pampanin Law Offices in Cambridge.
Since 1994, Bennett Savitz has been an active
member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), serving
on several local and national AILA committees, helping shape policies
and procedures for the entire Immigration Bar.
He is currently the Chair of the New England
Chapter of AILA.
Bennett Savitz has spoken frequently and written
numerous articles on various aspects of Immigration Law. He has also
authored articles in AILA's Immigration & Nationality Law, a
nationally distributed handbook published annually at the national
convention, where he has frequently been a speaker. Bennett Savitz was
also the Chairman for a series of Immigration Law seminars sponsored
by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education. Additionally, he was the
editor of their two-volume reference set entitled, Immigration Law
Primer. He is currently
teaching a Graduate School course on Immigration Law at Lesley
University.
Bennett Savitz also presents immigration
information annually to thousands of attendees at the BIO
international biotechnology conferences,
the Pacific Rim international biotechnology conferences, and the
INTERPHEX international pharmaceutical conferences. He also
presented immigration information to thousands of Human Resource
professionals at the SHRM Global Forum and SHRM World Congress.
Bennett Savitz graduated cum laude from
the University of California at San Diego in 1990 with a degree in
Political Science. He received both his M.A. in International
Relations and his J.D. from Boston University in 1993, where he
graduated as an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar. He speaks Spanish and
Russian. He and his wife have a daughter and a son.
EILEEN
F. MORRISON, ESQUIRE
Eileen Morrison has practiced
solely in the field of immigration and nationality law since 1990.
She represents corporations, educational institutions and
hospitals as well as arts organizations in connection with obtaining
visas for professionals, managers, executives and performing and fine
artists. She serves as a
frequent panelist at immigration conferences and is often interviewed
by the press regarding issues relating to immigration law.
Eileen Morrison has been an active member of the
American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 1990, serving on
the Executive Board of the New England Chapter of AILA, including
being Chapter Chair from 2000-2001.
She is a past member of the AILA National Board of Governors
and a past Vermont Service Center Liaison.
She has authored numerous articles on business immigration law
including several in the Immigration Practice Manual, to be
published by the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Institute in
late 2003.
Eileen Morrison
graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1986, where she was
a winner of the Homer Albers Moot Court Prize.
She also graduated cum laude from Boston University with
a B.A. in English in 1983.
Prior
to joining Savitz Law Offices, P.C., Ms. Morrison was Counsel to
Palmer & Dodge, LLP and was an Associate with Sullivan &
Worcester, LLP.
